Who is Carolyn Myss?
According to her personal website, Carolyn’s most valuable achievements are her prolific literature pieces. She started by getting her Master’s Degree in the field. This gave her enough expertise to open a publishing agency – Stillpoint Press.
Even from the beginning, she aimed to show people how they can heal, how they can work on themselves, and improve their lives. For this, she studied “human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition”. Then, she started freely talk about these topics and people quickly realized how much is there to learn about themselves. Her editorial career was very promising, as she managed to publish around ten books a year.
However, she didn’t stop there. Her medical expertise improved, due to C. Norman Shealy’s help. Training along with the popular neurosurgeon gave Caroline enough knowledge to develop a new medical branch on her own. A really smart person knows that words can move mountains. If you want to improve your life, you have to start with the way you talk, both with the others and with yourself. Your vocabulary defines you. Pay attention to the word you mostly use. Do they have a positive meaning? do they help you share important and valuable information?
You should be in a perpetual searching for new words and new ways of expressing you thoughts. These new words should replace the ones that give no value to your life. And Myss advises you to get rid of the following words:
She says “If you could extricate those three words from your head, you have no idea how much better you would feel.” Blaming others or yourself is never a solution. No one is entitled to anything. And, finally, you don’t know what you or other people truly deserve. It’s not about what you deserve. It’s about what you have.
Choice 5: I will get up in the morning and say thank
Just be happy to be alive and make sure you get the best from every day. Every day is a blessing and you should treat it properly. The moment you will stop saying “Thank You”, you will stop improving your life.
